Rasetsu

Rasetsu is getting into the character-driven, role-playing game scene. The recent announcement that the game is being developed by Namco, which will be published by Sega, has resulted in a lot of speculation. Whether or not it will stay that way, however, is up for debate.

The PlayStation 2 and Dreamcast games will take place in and around familiar settings, such as a medieval fantasy land, ancient dungeons, and even the mystical land of Hakkard. A cast of characters from the Tales series, including characters such as Ganke, Doh-da, Gez, and Yosuke, will be available. The battle system, in which players will be able to fight using a combination of regular melee, magic, and magic attacks, will be very similar to those in many of Namco's recent games.
