Chasing Dead

Chasing Dead, Sierra Studios' third-person survival horror, is set to launch in Q4 2004. Set in the Canadian jungle, the game follows the story of two unlikely characters in their struggle to survive the night. From Sierra's announcement last week, the company said Chasing Dead will be an "open-ended, action-packed, survival horror game." However, Sierra has since been cagey about the game's plot, saying only that the game will be set in the midst of a cataclysmic earthquake.

Though Sierra is yet to announce specific gameplay details, the game will feature two-player cooperative play for up to four players, and a single-player storyline where players can team up as different characters, complete missions, and eventually confront a mysterious religious cult. The game also promises dynamic and dynamically changing weather.

Chasing Dead will be a PC, Xbox, and GameCube game. We'll have more on the game later this week.
