ComixPlay #1: The Endless Incident is the latest title from coder Adam Shankar. This horror-themed shooter is really good, and one of the only elements that people like to hate about Dead Island and Shankar's previous games.

In this sequel, you play as a criminal cell girl named Kat, whose body was assaulted by a swarm of crazed robots. We had the opportunity to play through one of the first levels in the game. The level takes place in an arena, but there is one in the middle of the level, and you have to fight your way through the buildings. The game uses an auto-aim feature, which the developer says will get the game out of the way faster. The game also has a 3D-accelerated option that will let you turn off the slowdown effects.

The game is set in a large, rain-soaked area where you fight wave after wave of robots. The other three stages are fairly linear as well, although you won't be forced to do a lot of backtracking. In addition, there's a fast-moving story that takes place during some sequences. The level takes place in a battle arena, so the camera will follow Kat, who'll fight an assortment of robots. One of the robots you'll be fighting is named Vulture, and he's the boss of the level. Your job is to fight Vulture and kill his robots. In some of the levels you'll find yourself running around and collecting crates and moving platforms. You'll also find a save point in the next area, which is actually a junkyard. The level is split up into several sections, so the second half of the level has a hub area that switches between the main levels and the bonus levels. In the third section you'll find yourself going through a school, collecting trinkets to enhance your gunship, a giant robot called Giant Mech, and a character named Ste.
