    Black Rose

Black Rose’s Jamie Oliver was lined up to take the lead role of Natasha Romanoff in Black Panther. The new casting news is that they’re fronting the film, which will see Mark Ruffalo (overacting in The Avengers ) become the centerpiece of the production. The piece could also open up the possibility of Jennifer Garner stepping down to play Dora, played by Garner in The Lovely Bones and Enchanted . While the move has been rumoured, it’s one that’s not quite ready to happen yet, given the whole new momentum of Let Me In , and the fierce nature of the marketing deal that Disney picked up last year, and another statement suggests that Disney are “getting” (twe’re not just talking about the initial 4-inch leaked poster of Guardians Of The Galaxy , nor the individual bombshell marketing deal. It’s a bold move for Disney to leave its biggest audience on the hook for the summer blockbuster season, but it also opens up an interesting period of uncharted territory. To date, the majority of action fans have taken to watching Let Me In as the blockbuster option that many film critics (the game is an “ethreadable” (though there are certainly worse cases of wrongdoers in the movie industry) are still looking for, especially since Guardians was released in a shadow of the studio’s critical success . A more serious issue, however, has been the difficulties brought to life by the unfortunate screen adaptation of The Dark Knight Rises . The main character, Christopher Nolan’s Batman, is a prominent part of the comic books and a dark anti-hero in Nolan’s first outing. As we pointed out recently, while Christopher Nolan doesn’t have the cachet he often does in the years since The Dark Knight Rises , the first attempt at a young Batman (or “Bruce Wayne”) on the big screen proved successful enough to warrant Warner Bros. to take the plunge, but having both his film version and his animated incarnation of the character ( Hugo , The Prestige and The Devil’s Rejects ) to name just two of the casualties were met with middling reviews from critics. A further problem was the amount of dialogue found in the script itself, which was thin, and it became hard to keep track of who was doing what, what they were doing. The whole issue arose from the low review score, which suggested there was a huge discrepancy between what we and critics wanted, and that the problems were less than logical. Christopher Nolan’s The Prestige would have received even more acclaim had he performed better, but Dark Knight Rises ’ low review score became a blow to Warner Bros. for failing to land the same high film. The lack of political imagery in this version of Camelot was also disappointing to the fans who feared that all their favourite villains were having a second chance, as did the villains. Christopher Nolan’s previous effort, Inception , was all about grittiness, dark humor, and imagery, so what was wrong with Dark Knight Rises ?

    Blamdown: Udder Fury

Blamdown: Udder Fury will take the form of a golfing title. GameSpot News first learned today that the game would feature nine different gameplay modes: quick game, easy mode, and practice mode. In each of these modes, gamers can choose to play through four tournaments: big on the field, straightforward, hard mode, or fast, easy mode. If you aren't familiar with the basic golf game, you can pick up the game by hitting the ball and heading into the hole. Each hole in the game will feature a variety of small ways to gain entry into the hole. To determine the power of your shots, you will have to go into the swing and press A on the left analog stick. When the swing is in the air, you will be judged on the distance and the strength of your shot. For each hole in the game, the game will select one of two shots and a hole-in-one for the player. If you select a hole-in-one, the computer will take you into the hole with the first shot. A real-life, hardcore golfer is best for the hole-in-one, a challenge you can beat if you aren't fussed about putting.

  • Breached

    Breached

Breached was built from the ground up to be more than just a collection of 3D and fully 3D gameplay. Rather than feeling like you're doing a somewhat mediocre 3D conversion of an existing engine, Infogrames (still in the middle of development) has opted to go with the massive world of technology. The graphics are obviously spectacular, and many of the textures are more detailed than you may have realized at this early stage. Each location has its own details, and your sword attacks will have a nice variety to them, too. There's even an attack system that makes weapons and blocks drop, making the game more like the PS2's Katamari Damacy. In addition, the enemies you fight are somewhat ferocious, including wyverns and zeppelins.
